WHere is a simplified version of a beverage featured on our latest menu. It's a large-volume pre-mixed which is packed with the flavours associated with holiday season, rendering it perfect for a festive gathering. Reserve the remaining cordial to use in morning drinks, desserts, or to make another batch of the drink.
Bikini Recipe
Makes enough for 10 guests
Ingredients for the Clementine Cordial (makes 750ml)
300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g fine sugar
Ingredients for the Premix (yields 850ml, enough for 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml dry gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml citrus syrup (from the recipe above)
Fresh cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, to finish
Instructions
Making the Citrus Syrup: Put all the components in a pot, bring to a gentle boil, mixing until the sugar dissolves. After that, take off the stove and leave to cool down completely. Decant into an clean bottle, seal keeping it in the refrigerator, it will last for up to one month.
Preparing the Cocktail Base: Mix all the liquid ingredients into one large bottle, let it rest for 60 minutes, then strain preferably using a fine cloth, making it completely strained.
For serving: Add 85ml from the cocktail base into a mixing glass containing ice, gently stirring carefully for one minute to cool it down. Filter into an frosted cocktail glass or similar, garnish with the cranberries and finish using a brief mist of mandarin oil above the glass.
