The Warrior Group Introduced
The third episode finished on a major cliffhanger and revealed the first table of heroes who will separate from the main group to undertake their independent quest, apart from the additional parties.
This warrior group features Teor (played by Travis Willingham), the nimble rogue (Laura), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), Wicander Halovar (Sam), and Kattigan (Robbie).
The Reason for Division
Considering 13 cast members, it was clear from the start that maintaining everyone at the same party would be impossible.
This explains, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, weaving together the individual narratives before dividing into three separate parties: Soldiers, Planners, and Seekers.
What Defines the Combat Party
As described by the DM, the warrior group is for adventurers who prefer a typically action-packed battle-oriented narrative style where diplomatic options are rare.
At first glance, characters like the hesitant healer the cleric might look unsuited, but the developments of episode 3 show why these five characters are best suited for the Soldiers table.
Why They Must Go
First, the party knows exactly where to proceed after a brutal first encounter with the enemy group.
Casimir of Thjazi Fang—whose passing started the campaign’s events—manipulated The Crow Keepers for his personal gain, invading the secret base, attacking the character, and stealing all the powerful objects to dispose of.
The antagonist then settled his liabilities and ran away to a Halovar stronghouse in the northern region, north of the city, with Teor’s brother close behind.
Personal Motivations
Additionally, each member has a personal reason to depart the metropolitan area:
- The agile hero, as the close ally and trusted friend, desires retribution.
- The knowledgeable figure has experience in Timmony and warns that it is a hostile environment.
- Tyranny and The cleric, having disobeyed his family’s wishes to execute the fighter and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
- But, their position as important members in the powerful family could assist the party enter places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
- Furthermore, The grateful character swore a life debt to The savior for his deliverance and will now go with him everywhere.
Wanted and Hunted
Finally, all of them are wanted by the powers that control the setting for a multiple motives, making staying in the city too risky:
- The agile adventurer and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.

This results in them little choice but to journey toward the northern region in pursuit of Casimir.
