Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the pair confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two time unified title holder Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the traditional face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really happening.
